YOUR GUIDE TO LUSAIL INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT

As you prepare for MotoGP exciting race weekends, here are some tips and recommendations that will help you make your experience seamless.

Information and timings are subject to change, please download our LICapp and check our social media for updates.

Getting to the Lusail International Circuit

METRO

The public transportation system is designed to ensure your get to your destination with ease. 

A shuttle service will be provided from Lusail Metro - QNB Station (red line) to Lusail International Circuit and vice-versa. Bus mall is located at Lusail QNB Shelter Two which is on the West side of Lusail Metro station and the shuttles will run as follows:

  • Friday - 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Saturday - 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Sunday - 01:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • The expected travel time in the shuttle is about 20 minutes.

PERSONAL VEHICLE

If you are planning to arrive at the circuit with your own vehicle, please be mindful of the following: 

  • Plan to arrive early as traffic congestion is expected on the roads surrounding the circuit and in the parking areas.
  • Access to Lusail Circuit will be allowed from Al Khor Coastal Road.
  • Exit 32 and follow the Spectators sign to reach a designated parking area.
  • Download the LIC app and follow the spectator parking directions: Go to maps tab, choose your ticket category and follow the parking directions. 
  • If you have your tickets on Lusail tickets app, open Take me there tab and follow the parking directions. 
  • Free parking will be available at the circuit. We encourage ticket holders to make use of public transport and to car-pool as much as possible.

                  

TAXI

  • Karwa and Uber taxis will be available at designated drop off and pick up location near the venue entry gates until venue gates closing time, after they can be requested via Karwa taxi or Uber application. 

A GUIDE TO THE VENUE

SECURITY AND TICKET CHECK

Attendees are required to undergo thorough inspection before entering the circuit. You are requested to comply with the officers as they are responsible for ensuring everyone’s safety and security. 

  • Please refer to the list of prohibited and restricted items before planning your arrival to the circuit to avoid having your items confiscated.
  • Get you tickets ready! Make sure your mobile phone is fully charged and your cellular data sufficient as you will need to display your ticket clearly with the QR code at the venue gates.
  • Ensure your ticket get scanned out every time you leave the venue security perimeter, otherwise your re-entry will be denied.
  • DO NOT purchase tickets through unauthorised secondary market resellers (viagogo, stubhub) as they don’t have official tickets for sale, and you won’t be admitted to the event.

  • 2024 MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar timetable covers the full weekend track schedule, including details of all practice and qualifying sessions, and support races and special events. 

HERO WALK

The first 400 spectators to enter the venue on Saturday and Sunday will have access to the Hero Walk!

  • SATURDAY March 9th from 15:10 to15:40

Moto2™ & Moto3™ riders will meet fans who will have the opportunity to see their favourite competitors and take photos with them.

  • SUNDAY March 10th from 16:00 to 16:40

MotoGP™ riders will have a short talk with media and meet fans who will have the opportunity to wish them good luck before the races.

FAN ZONE ACTIVITIES 

The Fan zone will be a blend of experiences, thrilling activations, engaging games, along with a selection of activities for families and children.

In the Main Grandstand area, you will find a cultural corner with activities, Kids craft corner, racing simulators, PS5 console game, VR motorbike simulators, MotoGP arcade, VR laser tag, trivia wall, 360 video booth, bullet time photo booth, variety of carnival games, face painting, trampoline park, roaming entertainments, motorbike display and much more.

  • Food and beverage vendors will focus on offering fans a selection of international and local flavours making sure there is something for everyone.
  • Please refer to Info point behind the Main Grandstand in case of lost and found items and in the unforeseen incident of a missing attendees. 

ADDITIONAL TIPS

  • Wear comfortable shoes as the venue is large and there are lots of activities around the circuit.
  • Remember to stay hydrated as you will be out exploring the fascinating Lusail International Circuit. You can bring your reusable water bottle (NO glass!) and refill it at the water fountains in the Fan zone.
  • Lost Child Prevention– for parents with kids: head to info point to get bracelets for your kids with your phone number on it to facilitate missing kid search.
  • No smoking policy - Lighters are among prohibited items and smoking will be allowed only in the designated smoking zones. Smoking is NOT allowed at the grandstands, food & beverage areas, and certain activation areas.

2024 MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar

WHAT ARE THE VENUE ENTRY PROCEDURES?

You will need to approach the venue entry gate where the airport style security check will take place and your ticket will be scanned/validated.

ARE THERE PRIORITY LINES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES?

Yes, every spectator entry point has a priority line.

IS THERE ACCESSIBLE PARKING AVAILABLE FOR ACCESSIBLE TICKET HOLDERS?

Yes, you must display the Disability Parking Permit to access reserved parking areas which are close to spectator entrances.

IS WI-FI AVAILABLE?

Airport style Wi-Fi will be available only at the venue entry gates.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD TO THE CIRCUIT?

No, you can’t, food and drinks are not allowed, except baby food.

ARE THERE SMOKING ZONES? IS IT ALLOWED TO SMOKE IN THE GRANDSTAND?

Smoking will be allowed only in the smoking zones. Smoking is NOT allowed at grandstands, Food and Beverage areas, and certain activation areas. Please note that lighters are not allowed inside the venue.

ARE THERE TOILETS FOR PERSON WITH DISABILITY AVAILABLE AROUND THE CIRCUIT?

Yes. There will be accessible toilets in the permanent toilets in the Main Grandstand Building and all portable toilets will have an accessible unit.

ARE MOBILITY BUGGIES AVAILABLE?

There will be mobility buggies upon request in our info point. 

WILL I BE ABLE TO BUY MERCHANDISE (T-SHIRTS, CAPS ETC.)?

Yes, merchandise stores are in the Fan Zone.

ARE THERE RESTAURANTS, PRAYER ROOMS, MERCHANDISE SHOPS AND RESTROOMS? 

There are permanent toilets in the Main Grandstand building and portable toilets in each zone. 

Merchandise shops will be allocated in various locations in the fan zone.

One prayer room is also located near the Main Grandstand between Spiral A and B.

IS THERE A SPECIFIC DRESS CODE?

Wear comfortable shoes as the venue is large and please respect the local culture by dressing appropriately.

IS THE EVENT AVAILABLE FOR FANS TO WATCH ON BIG SCREENS? 

Yes, we will have giant viewing screens placed around the circuit, so you won't miss a moment of the action.

IS ALCOHOL AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT THE CIRCUIT?

Alcohol is available only at the VIP Hospitalities.

ARE THERE FACILITIES SUCH AS LOCKERS AVAILABLE ON SITE?

No, there won't be any lockers available.

RESTRICTED ITEMS STORAGE? HOW FAR IS IT FROM THE CAR PARK?

Restricted items storage booth is located next to the spectator entry point.

WILL THERE BE CLUB CARS AVAILABLE AROUND THE CIRCUIT TO MOVE FROM PARKING TO THE VENUE AND INSIDE THE PREMISES?

No, there won't be club cars available.

CAN I PARK OVERNIGHT?

No, you can't leave your car parked overnight.

IS MEDICAL SUPPORT AND FIRST AID AVAILABLE ON SITE?

Yes, an ambulance will be placed on the right side of the Main Entrance.

CAN I DEPOSIT PROHIBITED ITEMS AT THE VENUE?

Confiscated items will be disposed of, but you can deposit restricted and prohibited items at the dedicated booth next to the spectator entry point and collect it at your exit.

WHERE ARE THE LOST & FOUND ITEMS POINTS? 

Lost and Found items will be kept at the Info Point at the Main Grandstand for a day. If items are not collected, they will be be handed over to the LIC Security team.

WILL THERE BE ATMs AROUND THE CIRCUIT? IS CASH ACCEPTED FOR PURCHASES OR ONLY CARD PAYMENT?

Yes, the ATM is located at the Main Grandstand near Spiral F next to prayer tent and payments are accepted in cash and via credit/debit cards. 

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY

We reserve the right to revoke the tickets of those individuals whose conduct is determined to be inappropriate, including but not limited to any violation of the Code of Conduct. Please be aware that the ticketholder is accountable for the conduct of his/her guests.

RECYCLING / SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

We encourage all guests to reduce, reuse and recycle. The recycling program includes recycling containers in all parking lots, all security checkpoint locations, as well as in all hospitality areas. Please check the signage on the recycling containers to help our guests in recycling the proper items such as plastic, glass and aluminium.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCIES (FIRE, ACCIDENTS, ETC.) WHAT ARE THE EVACUATION PROCEDURES? 

Spectators are encouraged to report issues and concerns to a nearby event staff member. In the event of a serious emergency, event staff, event security, and police are ready and available to assist guests, including guests with disabilities. 

Emergency number in Qatar is 999.

WHEN ATTENDING THE MOTOGP YOU ARE REQUIRED TO REFRAIN FROM THE FOLLOWING BEHAVIORS: 

  • Intoxication or other signs of alcohol impairment that results in irresponsible behaviour
  • Actions that are harmful to or endanger others 
  • Throwing items of any kind 
  • Using foul or abusive language and/or gestures 
  • Displaying inconsiderate behaviour towards others 
  • Disorderly conduct 
  • Wearing obscene or indecent clothing 
  • Smoking in non-designated areas 
  • Sitting or standing in the aisle ways 
  • Entering or attempting to enter a restricted area or the racetrack
  • Entering the venue with any prohibited items 
  • Harassment of opposing fans


ARE THERE TOURIST ATTRACTIONS NEAR THE CIRCUIT?

Yes, you can visit Lusail Stadium, Lusail Marina Promenade, Marina Food Arena, The Pearl Island, Katara Cultural Village, Vendome Mall, Lusail Winter Wonderland, Meryal Waterpark and Al Maha Island.
