Lusail International Circuit Hosts Successful Open Track Day for Cars and Motorcycles
Lusail International Circuit (LIC) recently hosted its second Open Track Day for this year, welcoming both car and motorcycle enthusiasts to experience the iconic 5.38km circuit that hosts Formula 1®, MotoGP™, and World Endurance Championship races. The dual-format event attracted over 50 participants from Qatar and GCC region, across both categories, furthering LIC's commitment to Qatar's vibrant motorsport community
The event featured dedicated sessions for both four and two-wheeled enthusiasts. Motorbike riders took to the track from 13:30, while car drivers had their turn from 17:00. All participants received their safety briefings before heading to the track.
Participants experienced the professional racing environment under expert supervision, allowing them to safely push their limits while mastering the circuit's 16 turns. The event maintained the highest safety standards with dedicated marshals stationed throughout the track.
To maximize the experience, participants in both categories were divided into groups based on experience levels, with each enjoying three 20-minute sessions on the world-class circuit
Building on this success, LIC has announced plans for additional community events in the coming months. For upcoming events and championship updates, follow LIC's social media channels and visit the official website at lcsc.qa.
