MARC MARQUEZ CLAIMS VICTORY AT ARGENTINA GP AS MotoGP™ CHAMPIONSHIP BUILDS MOMENTUM TOWARD QATAR

Marc Marquez delivered a commanding performance at the second round of the FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) MotoGP™ Championship 2025 at the  Grand Prix of Argentina, claiming victory on the Ducati Lenovo Team bike.

In a thrilling contest, Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) claimed second place,1.362 seconds behind the leader, whileFranco Morbidelli (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) completed the podium in third position, 4.695 seconds off the pace.

The Termas de Río Hondo Circuit race featured strong performances from Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) and Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) who rounded out the top five. Marc Marquez also set a new fastest lap record of 1'38.243 on Lap 19, underlining his dominance on the track.

With the championship having completed its initial two exhilarating rounds, competitors and fans alike can look forward to the fourth event of the season – the MotoGP™ Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar at Lusail International Circuit from April 11-13, 2025.

The Qatar race weekend offers the unique spectacle of competition under its iconic lights, with Lusail being the only circuit on the calendar to host night races.
