Second Day of QSTK and QTCC Round 2 Marked by Intense Competition to Secure Podium Spots
The second round of the Qatar Superstock (QSTK) and Qatar Touring Car Championship (QTCC) delivered thrilling podium battles on the second day of racing at Lusail International Circuit. Organized by the Lusail International Circuit and the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation, the event featured impressive performances, from both local and regional competitors, who showcased their skills on the track.
In Race 2 of the Qatar Supersport 300 (QSSP), the Qatar Motorsport Academy riders showcased the skills they honed at the academy, striving to secure a spot on the podium. After securing the top position in Race 1, Rakshith Dave maintained his dominance in Race 2, clocking in at 18 minutes 55.547 seconds. Marton Bellelli was close behind, securing the second position on the podium with a time of 18 minutes 55.615 seconds, followed by Mahmoud El Banna, who concluded the race at 18 minutes 59.967 seconds.
In QSTK 600, riders fiercely competed for a coveted spot on the podium. In Race 1, Abdulla Al Qubaisi clocked the best time at 25 minutes 16.809 seconds, followed by Mashel Al Naimi in second place at 25 minutes 22.014 seconds. Saeed Al Sulaiti secured third place on the podium with a time of 25 minutes 35.462 seconds. The results of Race 2 were the same as those of Race 1. Abdulla Al Qubaisi secured the top position with a time of 25 minutes 5.429 seconds, followed by Mashel Al Naimi and Saeed Al Sulaiti, who were 25 minutes 15.255 seconds and 25 minutes 20.805 seconds, respectively.
In Race 1 of QTCC, Ghanem Al Madheed secured first place on the podium with a time of 25 minutes 58.955 seconds. Abdulla Ali Al Khelaifi and Mansour Al Hajri secured second and third places, clocking in at 26 minutes 11.606 seconds and 26 minutes 24.071 seconds, respectively. In Race 2, Ghanem Al Madheed maintained his dominance, clocking in at 26 minutes 54.822 seconds. Mansour Al Hajri secured second place with a time of 26 minutes 55.218 seconds, while Abdulaziz Al Sayed took third place, concluding his session at 27 minutes 9.068 seconds.
