A strong start of the second round of Qatar SuperStock 600 and Touring Car Championships

The excitement dominated the launch of the second round of the fifth edition of Qatar SuperStock 600 and Touring Car Championships, which are organized simultaneously by the Lsail Circuit Sports Club under the supervision of the Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, over a period of two days at the Lusail International Circuit with the participation of 26 riders and 23 drivers.

In the Qatar Motorcycle Championship, Qatari Saeed Al-Sulaiti shined in the strongest category / 600 cc / during the free practice and qualification, and was able to book the Superpole position in the first main race, after recording the fastest lap time of 2.04.077 minutes.

In the "Trophy" category related to the 600cc category, Qatari driver Youssef Al-Darwish excelled during the free practice and qualification, achieving the fastest lap time of 2.08,558 minutes.

In the 300cc category, Qatari Yusef Al-Darwish won the first race title after he ranked first with a time of 16.25,640 minutes, 10.933 seconds ahead of his closest competitor and compatriot Hamad Al-Sahouti with a time of 16.36,563 minutes. Their other compatriot, Saad Al-Harqan, finished third with a time of 16.36,642 minutes. Al-Darwish had the fastest lap time during the qualifying practice as well, which was 2.18,931 minutes.
