FORMULA 1® QATAR AIRWAYS QATAR GRAND PRIX 2026
Experience Formula 1® as it returns to Lusail International Circuit (LIC) for the FORMULA 1® QATAR AIRWAYS QATAR GRAND PRIX 2026, taking place from 27–29 November. Held under the circuit’s iconic floodlights, this penultimate round of the championship will feature 22 drivers representing 11 teams. The 2026 season marks the introduction of new cars, revised regulations, and new teams, bringing a fresh competitive dynamic to the championship. Fans can enjoy competitive racing, a dedicated Fanzone, live music, and a range of entertainment experiences, as teams compete on one of the region’s most established circuits.

2026 Season Highlights
For the 2026 Formula 1® season, 22 drivers are expected to compete across 11 teams, including the debut of Audi, with Nico Hülkenberg and 21 year old Gabriel Bortoleto confirmed as teammates on the newly branded Audi Revolut F1® team and the arrival of Cadillac as the sport’s 11th constructor, bringing experienced drivers Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas to the grid as the American backed outfit makes its debut.
The new season also marks the beginning of Formula 1®’s most significant technical regulation overhaul in more than a decade, ushering in a new generation of cars and power units. These cars will be shorter, lighter and more agile, with revised aerodynamics designed to reduce downforce and improve close racing.
Race Experience
The Lusail International Circuit, a unique and fast 5.38 km layout, is known to test drivers' precision and bravery. With 16 flowing medium and high speed corners and a main straight over a kilometre long, the track offers excellent overtaking opportunities into Turn 1 fostering intense strategic battles. The Grand Prix weekend commences on Friday, November 27th, featuring two free practice sessions. Saturday, November 28th, includes a third practice session followed by the crucial qualifying session that determines the starting grid. The main event, the 57-lap Grand Prix race, takes place on the evening of Sunday, November 29th.
