The weekend kicks off with the F1® Family Friday, moving onto the exhilarating Sprint Race Saturday, followed by the Grand Prix on Sunday.
Beyond the track, the excitement continues with live entertainment, concerts, exclusive F1® fan experiences, family friendly activities, and vibrant showcases of Qatari culture. Guests can also enjoy diverse culinary offerings and premium hospitality, including the new Cipriani at Premier Hospitality, making it an unforgettable race weekend both on and off the circuit.
Friday, November 28: F1 Family Day
F1 Family Friday brings a full programme of on track action including Formula 1® Practice Sessions, Sprint Qualifying, Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East practice, and Formula 2™ practice and qualifying. Families can share the excitement together with children under 12 receiving free general admission when accompanied by a ticket holding adult with advance booking required (limit 4 children per adult).
Across the venue fans can enjoy the reimagined Fan Zone and its wide range of interactive activities, live entertainment food courts and the Formula 1® Fan Forum featuring appearances from drivers and team principals. The evening closes with a special live concert by British international icon Seal whose distinctive soulful sound provides a powerful finale to the opening day.
General Admission includes access to Lusail Hill (Turn 1), free shuttle service from Lusail QNB Metro Station and parking spots for fans planning to drive to the venue.
Saturday, November 29: Sprint Day
Saturday delivers a high intensity schedule featuring the Formula 1® Sprint Race and the full Qualifying Session for Sunday’s grid. Motorsport fans will also witness Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East Qualifying and Race 1 along with the Formula 2™ Sprint Race
Off the track visitors can continue exploring the refreshed Fan Zone experience and attend the Formula 1® Fan Forum sessions. The night’s headline entertainment features Algerian music legend Cheb Khaled performing live. Known as the King of Raï his global hits and signature sound will bring an electrifying cultural and musical celebration to Sprint Day
Sunday, November 30: Grand Prix Race Day
Grand Prix Sunday showcases a full day of top tier racing including Porsche Carrera Cup Race 2, the Formula 2™ Feature Race, and the Formula 1® Drivers’ Parade leading into the 57 lap Qatar Grand Prix under the lights. Fans can enjoy the expanded entertainment zones throughout the day before gathering for the weekend’s biggest concert
The event culminates with a headline performance by legendary American rock band Metallica bringing their globally renowned high energy live show to the Lusail Live Stage followed by a spectacular fireworks display to close the 2025 edition of the FORMULA 1® QATAR AIRWAYS QATAR GRAND PRIX
What's New for F1® 2025
The 2025 season brings unprecedented changes to Formula 1®, with one of the most significant driver shuffles in recent history. Lewis Hamilton makes a historic move to Ferrari, while young Italian prodigy Andrea Kimi Antonelli steps into the Mercedes seat. The grid welcomes six talented rookies, marking the largest rookie class in modern F1® history, with fresh faces at Mercedes, Red Bull, Haas, Sauber, Alpine, and Racing Bulls.
1. How to get to the circuit:
Private Cars:
For those driving to the circuit, the #QatarGP Event Map will direct you to optimal parking zones based on your ticket and allows you to save your parking spot for easy reference. VIP ticket holders can locate their exclusive entrances and dedicated shuttle services, ensuring you don’t miss out on any experiences during the race weekend. Stay informed about route changes and access the latest venue updates throughout your journey.
Free parking will be available for a limited number of cars. We encourage ticket holders to use metro or to car-pool as much as possible.
Metro:
The Doha Metro will serve as the backbone of your journey. FORMULA 1® QATAR AIRWAYS QATAR GRAND PRIX 2025 3-days ticket holders can get a complimentary 3-Day Pass valid for unlimited journeys on Doha Metro. Terms and conditions apply.

From the QNB Lusail Metro station (Red Line), complimentary shuttle services ensure a seamless transition to the circuit gates. Once arrived to QNB Lusail Metro station the bus service will operate as below timing:

Taxi:
Karwa and Uber offer a convenient drop-off point at the venue, while only Karwa will be available for leaving the circuit.
2. Gate opening timings:
Entry to the venue will be available from:
- Friday 12:00 to 22:00
- Saturday 13:30 to 22:45
- Sunday 12:00 to 22:00
After gate closure, the venue will remain open for the concerts. However, please note that the Fan Zone will close at:
- Friday 21:45
- Saturday 22:00
- Sunday 21:45
3. Get your tickets ready!
You will receive your digital ticket through Lusail Tickets app, and you will need to display your ticket clearly with the QR code at the venue gates.
4. Navigating the circuit:
- The #QatarGP Digital Map serves as your digital guide to reaching and exploring the venue. Its immersive 3D map provides real-time navigation, where you can explore the venue through detailed 3D models of key landmarks, locate F&B outlets, merchandise stores, and special events.
- Spectator Shuttle Buses will be available inside the venue with stops at the different Fan Zone and Grandstands venue entry point and are accessible friendly.
5. Mobility Assistance Service:
Mobility assistance is available for spectators who require support during the event. Mobility Assistance Points are located around the venue and are equipped with buggies and wheelchairs. Both services are operated by trained volunteers who provide push assistance and transport support as needed. Assistance is offered on a priority basis depending on mobility needs. Spectators can approach the nearest Mobility Assistance Point or speak to a volunteer for guidance and support.
